29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) Lock Haven University: Employees installing rubber roofing on a flat roof that was greater than 50 feet in width and with an eave height of 17 to 31 feet were not protected from falling, on or about August 2, 2016. b) Lock Haven University: Employees installing rubber roofing on a flat roof that was less than 50 feet in width and with an eave height of 12 feet were not protected from falling, on or about August 2, 2016. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED Boss Insulation and Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Administration standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 978207, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 6/11/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 915 Carpenter Road, Milton, PA. Boss Insulation and Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Administration standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1069486, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 9/29/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 4700 West Branch Hwy, Lewisburg, PA.
