29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): Protective eye equipment was not required where there was a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment:    a) Painting Department: On or about October 11, 2016, employee(s) who perform spray paint processes were exposed to chemical hazards and eye irritants, from the use of paints, activators, hardeners and additives containing chemicals such as, but not limited to, hexamethylene diisocyanate and isophorone diisocyanate, as well as various organic chemicals and solvents, and were not equipped with protective eyewear, including safety glasses.    b) Body shop: On or about August 3, 2016, employee(s) who perform body work processes were exposed to chemical hazards and eye irritants from the use of Advantage 801 Body Filler (Calcium Carbonate, 5-10%, Magnesium carbonate 10-20%, Styrene, 10-20%), as well as from dust generated during sanding processes, and were not equipped with protective eyewear, including safety glasses.
