Employees did not wear appropriate protective eye or face protection when dispensing or using the corrosive liquid.  This condition exposed employees to a chemical hazard.

Employees performed duties in the warehouse, including operation of lead acid battery powered industrial trucks, and dispensing and using floor cleaning chemicals.  The employer had not provided information or training on hazardous chemicals in the work area, including but not limited to the following:    1.  Lead acid batteries (containing sulfuric acid);  2.  Diesel fuel; and  3.  Delta Foremost Chemical Corporation Foremost 2001-ES Scrubmaster (containing potassium hydroxide).
