OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in the that employees were exposed to being struck by a saw blade: a) Employees were using a cut-off saw (TS 400) to cut a ductile iron wastewater pipe where the saw blade could be pinched, jam and kick back, exposing employees to a struck-by hazard from the saw blade, and the pipe being cut was not supported.
