29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Wood Shop: The guard for the CTD Upcut Saw was not adequate. Openings in the feed and delivery sides were too large. An opening in the back delivery side guard was not covered. One leg of the delivery guard was damaged creating a space between the hood guard and delivery side guard. The lower back side of the saw itself was not covered.
