29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about August 3, 2016 and times prior at 28013 State Hwy 181, building 3300, Daphne, Al: The employer did not ensure employees involved in roof decking activities had fall protection in place exposing them to a fall hazard of 9.3 feet to the ground below. b) On or about August 3, 2016 and times prior at 28013 State Hwy 181, building 3300, Daphne, Al: The employer did not ensure an employee using personnel fall protection wore it properly in that he had too much slack in his rope to prevent a free fall of more than 6 feet.
