29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment to be used: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) Berchmans Hall construction site 291 Springfield Street Chicopee, MA: On or about August 10, 2016, employee training did not include the appropriate work practices such as, but not limited to, wet methods or the use of High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) vacuum systems, to reduce sub-contractor employee exposure to respirable crystalline Silica associated with pneumatic jack hammering of a concrete wall in an elevator shaft.
