29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes must be free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level.     At the jobsite located 810 North Jefferson Avenue, Saint Louis, Missouri the employer did not ensure exit routes were free and unobstructed.  At the time of the inspection materials were being stored and blocked the southeast corner exit of the building, exposing employee(s) to a potential fire hazard.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:     At the jobsite located 810 North Jefferson Avenue, Saint Louis, Missouri, the employer did not ensure employee(s) exposed to corrosive materials, such as sulfuric acid found in forklift batteries, had suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes.  The eyewash stations in the facility were found to be in the following condition:      1. The eyewash station on the east wall of the building was found blocked by equipment making it inaccessible to employee(s)   2.  The eyewash station on the west wall of the warehouse was in use without maintenance or inspection

29 CFR 1910.176(a): Use of mechanical equipment. Where mechanical handling equipment is used, sufficient safe clearances shall be allowed for aisles, at loading docks, through doorways and wherever turns or passage must be made. Aisles and passageways shall be kept clear and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard. Permanent aisles and passageways shall be appropriately marked.    At the jobsite located 810 North Jefferson Avenue, Saint Louis, Missouri the employer did not ensure sufficient clearances for safe operation where mechanical handling equipment, such as powered industrial trucks, was in use.  Aisles and passageways were obstructed by materials being prepared for customer orders.
