29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s). a) On or about 8/9/2016 IRS employees working at the facility located at 201 Rivercenter Blvd in Covington, KY were exposed to various carpet cleaning chemicals (severe skin and eye irritants) and the employer did not obtain a copy of the safety data sheet and make it available to employees. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
