29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) On or about August 16, 2016 at worksite 9595 N McGee, Kansas City, Missouri- employees were performing roofing operations at an elevated height approximately 21-25 feet above the surface, without any means of fall protection by way of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Abatement certification for this item is not required.

(a) On or about August 16, 2016 at worksite 9595 N McGee, Kansas City, Missouri.- employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working next to windows and floor holes, where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface. Abatement certification for this item is not required.
