29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about August 16, 2016: a) Employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20.6 feet while installing roof sheathing when the employer failed to ensure that the employee was properly protected by fall protection measures. b) Employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 18.7 feet while installing roof sheathing when the employer failed to ensure that the employee was properly protected by fall protection measures. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
