29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(6): Ladders shall be used only on stable and level surfaces unless secured to prevent accidental displacement. a. On or about August 19, 2016 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees of O&M Seamless Gutters Inc. were required to work from ladders in the performance of their duties / assigned task. Employees performing gutter installation operations approximately 8 feet from eve to the ground, were working from ladders placed on unstable surfaces and not properly secured in accordance with this OSHA standard. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associate with falls from height.
