29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Basic Requirement. Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, you must report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA. On or about August 13, 2016 at approximately 10:00am at or near 900 S. Bowman Rd, Little Rock, AR 72211, an employee was hospitalized after falling and sustaining a broken right leg femur in the store. The in-patient hospitalization was reported on August 15, 2016 at about 10:00am, which was not within the stipulated 24 hours timeframe.
