29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Construction Site: On August 24, 2016 and at times prior, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 30 feet to the ground below while removing asphalt shingles on a 10-12 pitch roof.
