29 CFR 1910.1001(j)(7)(iv): The employer did not provide to all employees who perform housekeeping work in areas where ACM and/or PACM is present, an asbestos awareness training course covering the health effects of asbestos; and/or locations of ACM and/or recognition of ACM and PACM damage and deterioration and/or requirements in this standard related to housekeeping, and/or proper response to fiber release episodes:    a)  On or about August 25, 2016, and at times prior, U.S. Postal Service workers at the Matheson, CO location were not provided with training covering the items listed in 1910.1001(j)(7)(iv).    Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).  The United States Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1001(j)(7)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 280116, citation number 3, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on (date), with respect to a workplace located at 3655 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO

29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible:    a)  On or about August 25, 2016, and at times prior, U.S. Postal Service workers at the Matheson, CO location were exposed to various allergens when employees were permitted to use respirators voluntarily without being provided information found in 29 CFR 1910.134 Appendix D.
