29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) At Pleasant View Baptist Church, Foley, Alabama: On or about August 30, 2016 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform roofing activities from a high slope roof without using fall protection correctly exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 13 feet 5 inches to the ground below. THE F AND H GENERAL CONTRACTING, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1109947, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JANUARY 12, 2016, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 3 MEETING STRRET, ORANGE BEACH, ALABAMA.
