29 CFR 1926.1101(d)(5): As supervisor of the entire project, the general contractor did not ascertain whether the asbestos contractor was in compliance with the asbestos standard, and did not require such contractor to come into compliance with this standard:    a) On or about August 30, 2016, and at times prior, the general contractor did not ensure that the abatement contractor posted signs demarcating a regulated area at the entrance and access points to Federal Center building 85.      b) On or about August 30, 2016, and at times prior, the general contractor did not ensure that access to a regulated area established by the asbestos abatement contractor was restricted where a mechanical room door was propped open, allowing public access to the space.     Abatement note: Abatement certification is required for this item (See Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
