Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to electrical hazards from damaged conduit: (a) Cranberry Creek Dairy, LLC; On or about October 20, 2017, the employees were exposed to electrical shock and electrocution due to damaged 220 volt electrical conduit, which serviced the motor for the auger of the calf starter bin, was broken at the on/off disconnect box and broken at the point where the conductor enter the junction box on the bin leg. (b) Cranberry Creek Dairy, LLC; On or about October 20, 2017, the employees were exposed to electrical shock and electrocution due to damaged 220 volt electrical conduit on bin number seven. Conductor wires were exposed in three locations where the flexible armor clad conduit was damaged.
