29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a- 1 West Ramapo Lane, Beach Haven NJ: On or about 09/01/16, a company employee installing water barrier to the side of a residential structure, while standing/working from its roof having a pitch of approximately 4 on 12, was exposed to falls in excess of 16 feet to the ground below when they were not using any fall protection. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): A training program was not provided to each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards, to enable that employee to recognize the hazards of falling, and be trained in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a- 1 West Ramapo Lane, Beach Haven NJ: On or about 09/01/16, a company employee installing water barrier to the side of a residential structure, while standing/working from its roof having a pitch of approximately 4 on 12, was exposed to falls in excess of 16 feet to the ground below when they were not using any fall protection. In addition, this company employee had not received fall protection training. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
