29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(c). The employer had not complied with the provisions of 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1)(i) in that the: (a) Jobsite: Lot 243 Natalie Lane, North Huntingdon PA 15642: On or about September 8th 2016, an employee was exposed to an 8' - 9' high excavation sidewall while he was measuring the excavation for grade. This condition exposed the employee to a possible cave in/crushed by hazard.
