29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard in the workplace: (a) Rocky Mountain Crude Oil LLC, at LaJCO well pad, 1/2 mile east of Weld County Roads 15 and 46, Johnstown, CO: On and preceding 9/1/16, the employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard in the workplace. Employees performed gauging and sampling of crude oil tanks at the well pad. Employees performed these tasks at open thief hatches. Employees wore BW GasAlert H2S Extreme hydrogen sulfide monitors. The employer did not evaluate employee exposure to respiratory hazards, including oxygen deficient atmospheres and hydrocarbon gases and vapors, including benzene. This condition exposed employees to respiratory hazards.
