29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. On 9/12/2016, employees from Santana Construction were installing roofing materials on a roof of a located at 3701 Savannah Circle, Lincoln, NE. They were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. The crew lead and four employees were observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing them to a fall to the ground below.
