29 CFR 1926.451(b)(10): Scaffold components manufactured by different manufacturers were intermixed such that the scaffold's structural integrity was not maintained by the user: a- Front of Building, 93 Isabelle Court, Marlton NJ: Company employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 20 feet to the ground surface below, while performing red brick installation to the exterior surface of a residential building and other masonry related activities from a prefabricated, tubular welded framed scaffold system whose end frames were manufactured by different manufacturers. Condition observed on or about 09/13/16. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section. a- Front of Building, 93 Isabelle Court, Marlton NJ: Company employees, not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 20 feet to the ground surface below while performing red brick installation to the exterior surface of a residential building, and other masonry related activities, from the third buck of a prefabricated, tubular welded framed scaffold whose active walking/working surfaces were missing end-stops. Condition observed on or about 09/13/16.
