29 CFR 1910.37(b)(1): Each exit route must be adequately lighted so that an employee with normal vision can see along the exit route.    a) In the garage area the emergency lighting units for the emergency exits located at the Southwest exit and the Northwest exit were not operable exposing employees to the possibility of entrapment in the event of a fire or other emergency.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit must be clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit."    a) The emergency exit sign above the emergency exit door located on the Southeast side at the rear of the garage was missing the lettering "EXIT" exposing employees to the possibility of entrapment in the event of a fire or other emergency.

29 CFR 1910.138(a): General requirements. Employers shall select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands are exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasions; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes.    a) At the workplace, where employees performed maintenance and repair of automotive vehicles and were exposed to chemical hazards such as, but not limited to, grease, oils, brake cleaners, anti-freeze and battery acid, and physical hazards such as, but not limited to, exposure to sharp metal edges when working with automotive tools and automotive parts, the employer had not provided and ensured the use of hand protection.
