29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure:   a.  On or about 09/14/16, at Building #723, Public Affairs/ Recruitment office: Employees were exposed to electrical hazards while using an extension cord to provide power to computers,  small fridge and a coffee maker.     Note:   Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

29 CFR 1910.23(d)(1)(iv): On stairways more than 44 inches wide but less than 88 inches wide were not equipped with one standard handrail on each enclosed side and one standard stair railing on each side:  a.    On or about 09/14/16, at Building #722 next to Sally port area:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards while using to enter into the building a staiway of 53 inches wide that was not equipped with one standard stair railing on each side.  Note 1:  Documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(d).  Note 2: The U.S. Customs And Border Protection-Ramey Sector was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.23(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 893846, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/09/2013, with respect to a workplace located at722 Belt Road, Aguadilla, PR.
