29 CFR 1910.243(a)(1)(i): Portable power driven circular saw(s) having a blade diameter greater than two inches were not equipped with guard(s) below the base plate or shoe which automatically and instantly returned to the covering position when the tool was withdrawn from the work: On or about September 14, 2016 and there prior, the employer did not ensure that cardinal circular saws having blades with diameters of more than 2 inches were equipped with adequate guard or shoe that automatically returned to the covering position when the operator withdrew the circular saw from operation.
