29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    (a)  On the east side of the apartment complex, an employee performing decking work while not using any type of fall protection was exposed to falls of more than 6 feet to the ground below.    (b)  On the east side of the apartment complex, employees performing framing work without using any type of fall protection were exposed to falls of more than 6 feet to the ground below.    Edwin Martinez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 760301, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 7, 2013 with a final abatement date of March 15, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at6150 Browning Drive, North Richland Hills, Texas 76180.
