29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) Uhuru 622 Farmersville Road New Holland, PA - The employer did not ensure that required training was provided for hazardous chemicals, such as but not limited to Presto Black, Aluma Black, utilized at the work site. The employer did not provide training on the revised hazard communication standard (HCS 2012) label elements and the new format and type of information on each section of the safety data sheets (SDSs) to ensure that when employees begin to see HCS 2012 compliant labels and SDSs in their workplace, employees understand how to use the labels and SDSs and access the information effectively, on or about September 7, 2016. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
