29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Unguarded projecting shaft end(s) did not present a smooth edge and end and projected more than one half the diameter of the shaft:    Employees engaged in feed mill activities in the Concrete Elevator by the East Leg area were exposed to caught-in hazards in that the rotating shaft end was longer than 1/2 the diameter of the shaft and was not covered to protect employees from rotating parts.  The shaft was found to be approximately 1.5 inches diameter and approximately 2 3/4 inches in length.      29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.

29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1): Pulley(s) with part(s) seven feet or less from the floor or work platform were not guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o):  Employees engaged in feed mill activities in the processor mill area were exposed to caught-between hazards in that the inside of vertical belts and pulleys, approximately 2 feet above the ground, on both sides of the Denver Roller Grinder Mill were not guarded.  29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
