29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative.    a) Work site was located at 31 Richboynton Road, Dover, NJ 07801    The employees were exposed to caught between and struck by hazards as the employer did not have a written Lock Out / Tag Out Program to define the necessary procedures for securing stored energy in the machines used and refurbished by the company.    Violation was observed on or about 9/15/2016.

Employees were exposed to chemical hazards as they were allowed to use beverage bottles and other unmarked containers to store chemicals such as tap oil, thinner and coolants used in company processes for unlimited amounts of time.    Violation was observed on or about 9/15/2016.
