29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Flexible cords and/ or cables were used for purposes prohibited by paragraphs (A) through (F) of 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): (a) In the Production Area: On or about September 19, 2016, and at times prior, the employer was using an electrical flexible cord in lieu of permanent wiring to provide electrical power (230 volts AC) to the Heim Mechanical Brake Press. The cord was also run through a wall. These conditions exposed employees to an electrical and fire hazard.
