29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(i): Each employee on a boatswains' chair, catenary scaffold, float scaffold, needle beam scaffold, or ladder jack scaffold was not protected by a personal fall arrest system: a) Worksite - 254 Collins Ave, Williston Park, NY: A worker fell approximately 18 feet when a ladder jack scaffold collapsed. The worker was not protected from falling by the use of a personal fall arrest system; on, or about, 09/20/2016. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
