29 CFR 1910.243(e)(2)(i): The mower blade was not enclosed except on the bottom and the enclosure shall extend to or below the lowest cutting point of the blade in the lowest blade position: On or about September 16, 2016, at the job site, located at 1986 F Street, Fort Riley Kansas, employee(s) were exposed to amputation and laceration hazards from the rotating mower blade of the John Deere mower. The equipment was being operated with the side deck chute guard tied/secured in the up position.
