29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were not used only for the purpose for which they were designed: a) Job site, 3341 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about October, 1, 2016, during construction activities, the employer did not ensure that ladders were used for the purposes they were intended for in that employees were permitted to use a step ladder folded up and leaned up against the trench box as a means to get in/out of the excavation.
