This violation was discovered on or about October 6, 2016, where employees, who worked in the manufacturing area/floor were exposed to trip hazards due to empty/unused pallets throughout the area.

29 CFR 1910.24(h): Standard railings were not provided on the open sides of all exposed stairways and stair platforms. Handrails shall be provided on at least one side of closed stairways preferably on the right side descending. Stair railings and handrails shall be installed in accordance with the provisions of 1910.23. This violation was discovered on or about October 6, 2016, where employees were exposed to falls while using a stairway to and from the Quality Control Area were not provided with at least one handrail (7 Steps).
