OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment in a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that employees were exposed to fall hazards of more than eight feet: Fiberglass stepladders were improperly utilized, in the following instances: a) Work Area - An unsecured 8' fiberglass stepladder was used to access and egress the inside of the hull, and the ladder did not extend three feet above the upper landing surface. b) Work Area - An unsecured 8' fiberglass stepladder was used to access and egress the scaffold built around the hull mold, and the ladder did not extend three feet above the upper landing surface.
