29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system:      (a) American Legion, Roof: On or about October 4, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 15 feet to the ground while working on a roof removing and installing HVAC units. Employees were not protected by a fall protection system.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:   (a) American Legion, Roof: On or about October 4, employees were removing old and installing new HVAC units on a commercial building that measured approximately 15 feet from the edge of the roof to the ground and were not adequately trained on the hazards of working from heights and the procedures to be followed.
