29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) 47 Wellesley Way, Evesham, NJ: On or about 10/05/2016 employees of Unique Home Improvement Corp. were installing shingles on the steep sloped roof of a new construction two-story single family residence. The employees were not using any form of fall protection and were thus exposed to fall hazards of approximately 14 to greater than 25 feet from the roof's eves and rake edges to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) 47 Wellesley Way, Evesham, NJ: On or about 10/05/2016 employees of Unique Home Improvement Corp. were installing shingles on the steep sloped roof of a new construction two-story single family residence. The employees were using an aluminum extension ladder to gain access to the roof. The rails of the adder did not extend 3 feet above the upper landing surface and the ladder was not secured to prevent displacement.
