29 CFR 1926.502(a)(2): Employers shall provide and install all fall protection systems required by this subpart for an employee, and shall comply with all other pertinent requirements of this subpart before that employee begins the work that necessitates the fall protection.  On or about October 7, 2016 at the above addressed jobsite, the employer did not install fall protection before an employee began work. An employee used an aerial lift as an anchor point to access the structure exposing the employee to hazards associated with falls of approximately 160 feet above grade.   Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
