29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   a) 3700 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA; On or about October 7, 2016, the employer allowed an employee to work on top of a canopy while not having the lanyard of his fall protection connected to an anchor point and not protected by a guardrail system. The employee was standing on the edge. The employee was approximately 13 feet above the ground.
