29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about October 7, 2016, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 6 feet to the ground level below while they were positioning asphalt shingles onto the roof without using fall protection. Antonio Torres was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 897336, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on April 18, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 3010 West Dickinson, Fort Stockton, TX 79735.
