29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about October 7, 2016, employees were required to maintain the electric forklift battery by adding water to it. Employees were exposed to a corrosive chemical splash hazard from the acid in the battery. The employer did not provide suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body within the work area for immediate emergency use.
