Welding Department - The employer did not include information about hexavalent chromium (chromium VI) in their hazard communications program for employees who weld on stainless steel frames for refrigeration bodies, on or about October 7, 2016. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Welding Department - The employer did not ensure that employees who weld on stainless steel frames for refrigeration bodies were trained on the hazards of hexavalent chromium (chromium VI) as required by the hazard communications standard, on or about October 7, 2016. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.
