29 CFR 1910.141(d)(1): General. Washing facilities shall be maintained in a sanitary condition. At the worksite located 1208 Mid Rivers Mall, Saint Peters, Missouri, restrooms designated for employee use were not maintained in sanitary condition. The two wash facilities located inside the arcade had stained ceiling tiles as well as trash and cleaning supplies that prohibited access to the toilets and sinks.

29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2)(i): Lavatories shall be made available in all places of employment. The requirements of this subdivision do not apply to mobile crews or to normally unattended work locations if employees working at these locations have transportation readily available to nearby washing facilities which meet the other requirements of this paragraph. At At the worksite located 1208 Mid Rivers Mall, Saint Peters, Missouri, lavatories were not made readily available to employee(s). Lavatories located inside the arcade were found to be inaccessible for use. The alternate lavatories would result in a delay in access.
