Long Island City, NY Employees walking and working on the unprotected side of the excavation was exposed to the hazard of being struck-by loose rock, soil and unsecured rebar. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

Long Island City, NY Employees walking in an excavation were exposed to the hazard of loose rock and metal bar by rolling from the excavation face. A competent person was not conducting inspection prior to the start of work. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
