29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure. (A) Location: 52 Marion Street, Lynn, MA 01901: On or about October 13, 2016, an employee was not protected from falling while standing in a window opening at a height greater than 15 feet above lower level. (B) Location: 52 Marion Street, Lynn, MA 01901: On or about October 13, 2016, Employees' were exposed to fall hazards from thirty open window frames that did not have a means of fall protection; the fall exposure was greater than 15 feet above lower level. Rivera Finish Carpentry (Nixon Rivera) was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1137994, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as final order on July 1, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 54 Humphrey Street, Swampscott, MA 01907.
