29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: (a) On or about October 7, 2016, MC Exteriors, as controlling employer, did not ensure that employees of Filemon Ricardo Rivera, subcontractor, were safe from fall hazards of greater than 9.5 feet on the lower level roof, and greater than 19.1 feet from the higher level roof, while reroofing a house without fall protection. MC Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1010495, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 13, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 5965 S. Waco Street in Aurora, Colorado. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
