On or about October 15, 2016, two employees performing framing operations were not wearing a protective helmet, exposing himself to being hit by falling debris.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  a. On or about October 15, 2016, an employee using a NR83A2 Hitachi pneumatic nail gun to perform framing operations was not wearing safety glasses, exposing himself to being hit by nails or flying debris.   b. On or about October 15, 2016, an employee using a HR2475 Makita drill to perform framing operations was not wearing safety glasses, exposing himself to being hit by nails or flying debris.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a. On or about October 15, 2016, on top of a structure, two employees performing framing operations were not protected from a 20-foot exterior fall hazard by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or any alternative fall protection.
