29 CFR 1910.110(b)(20)(iv)(b): All commercial, industrial, and agricultural appliances or equipment were not installed in accordance with the requirements of this section and in accordance with NFPA 54A-1969, Standard for the Installation of Gas Piping and Gas Equipment on Industrial Premises and Certain Other Premises, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6: NFPA 54A-1969 6.7.1 When it is necessary to locate gas equipment close to a passageway traveled by trucks or cranes, suitable guard rails or bumper plates shall be installed to protect the equipment from damage. 17 West Main St, West Hatfield, MA On November 16, 2016 and at times prior, a petroleum gas-fueled Thermo Cycler warehouse heater was located adjacent to a powered industrial truck aisle way, but was not protected from damage by guard rails or bumper plates.
