29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) Location - 13 Kernwood Avenue, Beverly, MA: On or about 10/14/2016, the ladder providing access to the ladder jack scaffold platform did not extend at least three feet beyond the platform. Atlantic Weatherization, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 938967, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/21/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 492 Maple Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
